§ About This Service

A deck in Kentucky has to survive humid summers, freeze-thaw winters, and everything Lake Cumberland weather throws at it. We build with cedar and pressure-treated lumber rated for our climate, set posts below the frost line, and flash every ledger connection so water runs off the frame instead of sitting in it. The result is an outdoor space that still feels solid years after we hand it over.

Most of our deck and porch work starts with a conversation about how you actually use the space - morning coffee, weekend cookouts, or a covered spot to watch a storm roll in. From there we handle the whole build: footings, framing, decking, railing, and any roof or awning overhead. Covered porches and open multi-level decks are our two most-requested builds, and both come with our 2-year workmanship warranty.

§ Common Questions

Decks, Porches & Patio Covers

What decking materials do you use?

We build primarily with cedar and pressure-treated lumber, both well suited to Kentucky's humidity and temperature swings. If you'd prefer a composite or low-maintenance product, we'll walk you through the options and price them out so you can compare.

Can you add a roof or cover to my existing deck?

Often, yes. If your existing deck framing and footings are sound, we can add a covered roof, awning, or patio cover over it. We'll inspect the structure first and let you know if anything needs reinforcing before we build up.

Do you offer seasonal pricing on new decks?

We do - new deck and porch builds are often discounted in our slower months. Reach out for a free estimate and we'll let you know what seasonal pricing is available for your project.
